About

Another mix of tracks from the occasional contributor to Digital Vomit compilation albums.

This time topics covered include unresolved justice and the little explored area of narration in animation. We also find that we should not worry if the other stuff is duff, deregulated TV, and what to do with any left over cashew nuts lying around. Track seven takes a behind the scenes look at the disastrous launch and demise of a national combined radio and TV channel, with names changed to protect the fictional.

But, overall, PLAY LOCK deals with endings and closures (the impending closure of Digital Vomit is an unfortunate co-incidence).

ANE will continue.

“PLAY LOCK” was recorded and produced by Andrew Neilson in Droylsden, Birmingham and Brighton, England, and on Sanday, Orkney between 2011 and 2014. “PLAY LOCK” is an ANE/ZWNBSP Communications colour production for and released on Digital Vomit Records in 2014 as DVR128 with love, peace and some peperoni. Portions of track nine are taken from the unreleased and untitled album recorded 2002. Track three contains elements from the following samples:
