Although the Lady boys are moving out in a few different directions now with their Bubblegunner Recordings roster/label (not to mention the long-overdue criminal proceedings brought by the Metropolitan Police upon serial murderer Scorpio Scorpio), there's still life yet in the re-retro electro V/Vm Test Records pioneers of the New NEW Wave of British Heavy Metal. Along with a brand new EP to be released on another label in the not too distant future, I'm delighted to announce that after tough negotiations with both enigmatic lead singer Sebastian Falkstaff and band manager, impresario, raconteur and shit Tony Swain, Digital Vomit is set to release a collection of remixes of their 2007 single on V/Vm Test, 'Love Dictator'.

Next week I will be obtaining the much sought-after vocal tracks from the single, and these will be made available for free download for YOU to remix and twist into aural slices of electrock heaven, along with full instructions on where to send them (either to Bubblegunner or, more likely, to me). The finest remixes will be appearing on the compilation, along with a copy of the video you see above this very text, and will be available as a bonus free download to anyone purchasing the original VVMT666 7" single at what I can assure you will be a very reasonable price. (Don't worry if you already have a copy, we'll sort you out too.)

The Second Coming is almost here, and the Lady are ready to bequeath metallic genius unto the rockosphere once again… only this time they want you on board too. Believe the hype.

I should be getting the vocals tomorrow. The deadline is currently unconfirmed, but if everything goes to plan we're aiming for Tuesday 8th December, with no latecomers. There is a very good reason for this.

This link contains a ZIP file with both the mixed and seperate vocal files, recorded in mono at 72bpm. It's now over to YOU to transform them in whatever way you see fit. When finished, upload the WAV somewhere and email it to lee.aschroft at hotmail.co.uk. More details are the the ZIP file, weighing in at just under 20mb.

Deadline is still Tuesday 8th December, however there is a chance this may be pushed back. The reason for the relatively short deadline will hopefully become clear within the next week or so.

Good good… BTW, the cover's by Bubblegunner. I do like the inference that comes from the 7" cover being a Jack Daniels label, and the download cover being 3 bottles of blue piss. :)

Should have news about ordering the re-released 7" direct from BG soon, although what I can tell you now is that it will be £3. I don't currently know what P+P will be. Please note that ordering from the V/Vm website or any other store will not get you the downloads - this is strictly a DigiVom/BG exclusive.

Pre-orders are available DIRECT from Bubblegunner. This means that come release day you will receive a copy of the 7" and a link to the downloads - for just £3 plus P+P. And be sure to get your pre-orders in early - trust me, your extra patience will be suitably rewarded, if you catch my drift…

We're still hoping for a December release date, although we might have to bring the deadline forward by a couple of days. More soon.

1) P+P is absolutely FREE.

Well I've only had one demo remix in so far, and it's not from a DigiVom regular…………… Without speaking for myself, I know Bud's so depressed he's thinking of going back on the Bovril. He was going through two jars a day a couple of years back, and he's already stocked up on the entire Doncaster branch of Adsa's supply. Don't let him get to that stage again, and get your remixes in soon. Please.
